The patio well seen from the terrace, inside the blue railing

The house

A house from the last century, at the end of a medina alley.

Carved cedar doors and an arched window

Restored by its owner

Benoît spent two years restoring the house. The old doors and the ceilings are cedar, the arches Salé stone, the bathrooms tadelakt. On the floors, bejmat and cement tiles.

He answers guests’ messages himself.

The patio

The ground-floor rooms open onto the patio, the first-floor rooms onto its gallery. Against one wall, the fountain: a black zellige vine curls around the tap.

The sitting rooms

A sitting room on the first floor, open to all guests, and another on the terrace. A fireplace and heating in winter.

The terrace

On the roof: tables in the sun around the patio well, and the Terrace room, the only room up there. From the top you see the rooftops of the medina.
